Villa Jasmin in Odiaxere, Lagos, Western Algarve

A delightful villa and apartment with private pool in a secluded area set in over an acre of ground with beautiful country views. Available to rent separately or together. We think you will very much enjoy your stay at Vivenda Jazmin. We have worked very hard to make it a pleasant and relaxing environment. The villa has 3 bedrooms, and the self-contained apartment upstairs has another 2, so it will suit two families, or an extended family, or just friends sharing. Lagos is probably the best-loved town on the Algarve, and is only a short car ride away, or there is a bus which goes right past the gate. 10 minute’s drive to three golf courses. 10 minute’s drive to many clean un-crowded beaches. 2 minute’s drive to shops, bars & restaurants. 10×4 meter pool with spacious terrace. Satellite and Broadband connection. Central heating, Double glazing & Log burner.

Additional Features: Although we are in the heart of the country with hardly any other dwellings in sight, we are on a well-maintained tarmac road, and there are English speaking local cafes within 2 mins drive where you can still get a good meal for two with wine for 20€. We are very close to the historic town of Lagos, which you will find offers many interesting activities such as boat trips, water sports, nightlife, horse-riding, micro lighting etc. Lagos is a safe and friendly town with lots of historic sites to visit, and has markets, a large marina, and plenty of interesting shops. There is a relaxed feel about the place, and you can quite safely saunter around until the small hours just looking in shops, relaxing in the bars or street cafes, or just strolling around. For those that want it there is live music and discos (very discreetly situated) and usually lots of street entertainers. Within a few minute's drive is the quaint fishing village of Alvor with it's natural harbour and old world charm. Also close by are Portimao, a busy commercial centre and port and in the hills behind, the exquisite spa town Caldas, and Monchique, world famous for it's chicken piri-piri and fabulous views over the Algarve. Heading west takes you to the real unspoiled Portugal with several little coastal villages such as Luz, Burgau, Salema. From there it is possible to find many beaches almost deserted even in season. At the very end is Cape St Vincent and Sagres, the most south-westerly point of Europe. There is a historic fort/lighthouse, and a small town with many beach cafes. From there you can travel up the west coast, which is a nature reserve and totally undeveloped.
